The BFG book reveiw

                       The BFG book review

I think the BFG is a good book because it has a big friendly giant. He Is so nice he is about 106  years old I think. But he looks 60 I rate this book A 5/5 Because it Is an amazing book. I recommend this book for people who like Roald Dahl books and for people who like giants this book is the best book I have ever read. And I have read heaps of  books but that's my opinion you might not like it. Well I think that it was a really good book. I think the age you should be to read this Is eight years old.

My goals for term two

                               my goals

My goals for term two are for Writing, Tech and Maths. I want to get better at maths because, I'm not good at maths.
My tech goal is to be good at what I am doing for tech next term.
and finally my writing goal,I want to get better at writing on chrome books. Because I can't spell fast on chrome books. It takes longer for me but on paper I'm fast at spelling.

my treasures

                                     my treasures

At the  beginning of this year, we were sharing our treasures. my treasures are a necklace made of shells, A picture of my dad. And my cousins old hair clip. The reason these are my treasures are...

Because I don't see my Dad, My Grandad or my cousin any more.

Do you have treasures?

ferry mead/Bridle path

At Ferrymead we had to wear dresses that went down to our ankles with aprons over the top. We also wore bonnets. The boys uniform was similar to what they wear now but the girls was not at all.
Well life at home in those days wasn't at all fun. During dinner the parents would start the conversation and children could reply but not the other way around! One highlight at home, was even if all your siblings were boys, they would have to let the girls go first.

The people who arrived into Lyttelton, had to walk up the Port hills and then down again with all their belongings. Personally I wouldn't want to walk the Bridle path with all my belongings and you wouldn't want to either! Well I walked it with nothing but my bag and that was hard enough! Imagine pushing a piano up the port hills and then down again without stopping for a break!?

My highlight was the old 1850 school because w
e had to write with old pens from 1850. It was fun! I also liked using the chalk boards. You had a piece of led and a piece of fabric to rub off your mistakes.Otherwise you would get caned or strapped

Would you want to live in the 1800's

Book Review: Night of the Living Dummy

NIGHT OF THE LIVING DUMMY BOOK REVIEW!!!!!!!!!!

I would recommend this book for eleven year old+. If you don't like scary books I don't recommend this for you. It was so awesome. I really think you should read this book, it was amazing.

What I liked about the book is that it was interesting, scary and also a little bit funny. I think Slappy is kind of creepy and I think that it was a good book. The author is R.L Stine and I give this a 4/5 star rating. The main points of the book are when they first got him, when the problem started and when they got rid of him.

Do you like scary books?
